Tips for using the Directory

Using the last name only is usually the easiest way to find a specific attorney. Spelling must be exact. Do not use middle initials, extra spaces, or tabs.
You don’t have to spell out the whole name. It will also search based on partial name entries. For instance, you can type only “Cav” when looking for either Cavanaugh or Cavanagh.
For last names with apostrophes (e.g. O’Malley), iPhone and iPad users should press and hold the apostrophe key, then select the straight apostrophe option.
Lawyers have an ethical duty to avoid conflicts of interest. You should not provide details of a case until you have contacted an attorney and they have been able to confirm that they do not have a conflict of interest.

To update your information, login to SBM’s online Member Area at e.michbar.org. Under Profile, click on “Manage address, profile, preferences, photo, and passwords.”
To update your information on ReliaGuide, login to SBM’s online Member Area at e.michbar.org.. Under Extras, click on “Edit ReliaGuide Profile.”
